Mission

- To rescue orphaned, neglected, abused and abandoned cats and give them proper care and medical treatment until they can be placed into a loving home.

- To embrace a zero-euthanasia policy, which means that no cat is put to sleep due to health, space, adoptability or age.

- To promote the well-being of cats by educating people about compassion towards animals and responsible pet guardianship.

- To support other rescue organizations, so that together, we can help save lives and share the vision of no more homeless and unwanted pets.

- To reduce pet overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering.

In August 2022, Purrfect Pets opened a

brand new adoption center inside the

Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Kansas.

This new space features a shopping boutique (all proceeds
directly benefit our cats), two cat rooms,
and plenty of space where visitors can watch and visit with

the cats in a bright, fun and upbeat environment.

Elaine K. Doran, a life-long animal advocate, founded Purrfect Pets in 2003.

Her belief is that every cat has the right to a caring, safe and permanent home. Elaine hopes to improve the lives of both pets and people in our community by promoting the humane treatment of animals.

We love our two rescued cats from Purrfect Pets. Lainie and Fluffy caught our hearts and it's been so much fun ever since!
