As an all-volunteer cat rescue and adoption agency,
we rely on volunteers to maintain our daily operations.
From administrative support ... to animal care ... to vet transport ... to greeting visitors ... volunteering is a great way to contribute to your community, meet other animal lovers, and make a difference in the lives of the cats and kittens in our care.

Even when our public adoption center isn't open, our cats require care 7-days-a-week, so there are many volunteer opportunities that can accommodate every schedule and skill set. Our flexible scheduling allows you to contribute as little as 2 hours per week, or as many hours as you want!

Fostering

Foster care volunteers provide temporary care for cats and kittens in their home.  Some animals may only need a home for a few days, while others may require several weeks of in-home care.

We need foster homes for every imaginable situation:

• to create space at our adoption center

• for sick or injured cats

• for pregnant cats

• for orphaned kittens

• for elderly cats

• and for healthy cats that just need a break from the shelter.

Medical care and many necessary supplies are provided to the foster providers. We try to place our cats in foster homes that are most appropriate for their age, temperament, and circumstances, so we ask that all potential foster parents fill out a foster application form.
